It doesn't really matter why. Reasons won't change what happened to Rin. Maybe I just hope I'll learn something that I hate less than what I know now.

I wouldn't go that far. I convinced myself I didn't want the right answer before the night was over.

But it's something you deserved. Now that we know the team for certain, I'm sure who of them it is.

I think if Rang killed Rin, and I do think he would, it wouldn't have been like that.

I do think Rang Lee is the type to take the blame even if he didn't do it. But I also...think he's the type to become angry when he's forced to need someone too much.

Why did you want it to be another team? Are they your friends?

He does seem to hate that connection, as much as he seemed to hate every other connection forced upon him this week.

I wouldn't call any of them friends. There are simply types of people I prefer.

I like that type of person, too. But I also liked Rin. And it feels like...you have to choose between them at some point.

Mm. You will. We all will, especially once more people start trying to earn more points.

It's not easy to like everyone.

At least not in a place like this.

It's not set up for that kind of camaraderie, but if anyone manages it, they'll be both better and worse off for it.
