I did once see a giant one of those consume half of a village.

We used to have a giant one. Wasn't that nice, though... but the little ones weren't so bad.

The little ones were kind of awful. She could summon so many...

Ours were usually okay, as long as you didn't kill them...

Maybe that's where we went wrong...but they were sort of unpleasant.

But the big one turned out to be another monster preteen just like me!

Pretty much, yes. Sometimes, kids are monsters and destroy a village! That's just normal stuff.
