It's a personality type where the person acts cold or harsh, but they're really hiding that they care a lot about people. I'm not sure if he fits the exact type, but maybe it's close.

...i think he fits when it comes to rin. and maybe some other people. he's never cold or harsh to me, though, which is part of why it's so frustrating. hes never cold or harsh to me. i know exactly how nice he can be!

It counts if it's only toward one person. Nanase's never been that cold to me, either. He's a good guy.
Yeah, if they're in Shibuya, they probably wouldn't have somewhere to go swimming aside from a community pool or something... and we don't even know where that is on their side.
