Looks like the trains here are slow. You might have to go pretty far.

Maybe. Better question's whether you actually wanna know what's at the end of any of 'em.

That is a good point. If you start heading down a darker path, you don't know what you'll find. But it could be something helpful.

Yeah. They come out at night to clean up anything in the streets-- doesn't matter if what's in the way is alive or not.

The only thing that's for certain is that every time I wander off the safer path, there's going to be a wolf waiting. But a little danger is worth a little freedom.

[help... he definitely doesn't skip, but he does take a couple quick steps to try to catch up, fumbling with his phone for the light. this seems like a thing they might need, and also a thing he can plausibly be too occupied with to be enlisted into doing other things.]
