You know how you told me before about people wanting to change their stories, and make things better for themselves? That's something that people in the City can't do, most of the time. They've lost the light in their souls that lets them hope for anything, or have dreams and ideals. They just live the lives they know how to live, and they don't ever really think about change.
Angela's never been part of the world the way we were. She's a machine who was created to help with the project. I'm still not happy about what she did, but-- she just wants to live, the only way she knows how, so she wanted to use the Light to escape.
