I think Ruby was surprised. They didn't know who was sending those earlier messages, so they assumed those were lies meant to kind of rile us up. But seeing this message, and also knowing that there is some evidence that the erased are still around when they aren't supposed to be, she thought it was more likely this is somebody who is interfering with the game and gave us those messages on purpose so we'd know what the bosses are doing.
Yeah! That's what I think, too. If they saved all of the erased, they must be pretty powerful. It still sounds like they can't directly go against Ruby's bosses, but...
Help might be on the way! We just have to keep going, I think, and do our best, and hope that they're doing their best, too.
