my messages didn't say anything like that. but i did ask gerard if it was bad to team wipe and he basically said like, yes in the sense that it's sad to think about but no for any other reason. so the other messages we got saying to avoid team wipes were probably just about people being worried.

um other than that, nahida sent me a message that's probably pretty good.

It feels like I should be writing this like a letter, since these messages don't seem to be delivered as instantaneously as when we were alive. It feels weird, since it's still through our phones, but... I guess that's how things are here.

We'll see you again, for sure. I'm not hoping this; I know this. The overall situation isn't as bad as we thought it was. While the Game still has to be played, and it has to be played in a way that looks natural to those on the outside looking in, the chances of an outcome that we can all be happy with feel much more likely to me than they did before.

Thank you for everything. When we see each other again, what would you like to do first? I'm a little sad I didn't get to play in the snow with people... maybe we should have a snowball fight? 🍃

and the other thing i found out from kiichi is that its a good idea for someone to try to collect all of the characters from moon track because that might be worth points. i already have three so how many do you guys have because i might have the most i guess

...When I asked Ruby, she said we might not have been dead before. So we shouldn't really have been brought here.

[ since reapers' games are for the dead trying to come back to life. this is more like, they were brought here while they were alive and are now being forced to try and go back. or so he understands. ]

But now that our souls have been brought to the underground, we're basically dead to the world. [ ... ] By the way. I don't think it's safe to talk to Fuwa and Kiichi about this.

Ruby keeps saying that it’s not safe to talk to them.

…But Ruby also changes the subject whenever I ask her about anything about herself. I think Ruby thinks she’s pretty tough but maybe she’s overestimating herself and underestimating Kiichi and Aika.

[also they might not have died, but that’s less important than this.]

Also, their bosses are somebody new who they don’t usually work with. And Aika said they’ve only met them once.

...There's only really one way to tell.

[Kaveh barely talks to the NPCs so he doesn't have much to contribute to this conversation, but]

I spoke to Ruby earlier this week to ask her about the message that told Shu and I to use our "curse." It seemed like she was doing her best to tell me something while still talking around the subject, so... you know this, of course, but I do believe she wants to help.

That must be what Rang meant, then. I wrote him back, but the only message I've received since then was somewhat nonsensical. I don't think it was him. [It wasn't unhinged enough]

What did she say...?

Basically they're not supposed to know about those letters or what we're being told in them, but Ruby has like...told us it's okay and she won't get in trouble.

Man, I still don't know what curses they even mean, unless it's stuff like the crab sushi.
