Oh. So, when you said you could change back, but you didn't think it would be worth the cost... You were talking about her, in a way?

I never thought to ask her. No, I could go back to another version of my story. When I died the first time, I was given that choice. But there's a lot of other stories riding on what my friends manage to do, and I'm not sure I could help them if I was my old self.
