[how about the bowling alley? ylfa is near one of the lanes, but it looks like she has her hand stuck in a bowling ball? trying to shake it off to no avail.]

Am I supposed to just hit the pins with this?

[glancing at her hand and then doubletaking at her hand and then trying very hard not to stare at her hand. the level of success is negligible.]

Uh... Yeah, you just kind of roll it down the aisle there and try to aim for the center. Do you, um, need any help with that?

I'm fine! This is normal.

[she's just going to shake the bowling ball in the direction of the pins.]

[watching the bowling ball go... mildly concerned.]

[we're in the selfie zone but it's really just a backgrop. her ears perk up when she sees libby.]

Hello! Have you found a team yet?

[giving her a little wave and a smile.]

Pretty close to it, yeah. Just have to doublecheck with everyone involved that they're okay for it. [when snow and sisi are free from moving hell.] How about you?

[she perks her ears up.]

Yep! Someone tried to pay Gerard $5 to be on their team, and he said no, but now we're team froggystyle.

[ylfa can be found anywhere, really, as she's pacing around looking for clues even though there are no clues to find. she sighs, though, and stops to take a seat somewhere for a minute.]

I didn't think someone would be this fast.

[medeian]

[moving to take a seat by her when she speaks up, frowning herself.]

It's... really messed up, yeah. [chewing on her lip] How are you holding up?

[honkinbigteeth]

Holding up? I'm okay, I just wish there was something I could do. It doesn't feel fair, after we all were having fun and meeting our teammates just the other day.

[medeian]

...Yeah.

[breathes out]

But - physically, too? Someone mentioned to me you were near a fire earlier.

[let's check out the museum. ylfa is wandering around sort of bored, and also slightly splattered in blood.]

Hi, Libby. Do you know where those bones are supposed to be.

[well, before anything else:]

Oh, it's not mine.

[so don't worry about it.]

week 2; monday

[ylfa is standing outside smexy salon and puppy play, looking at both. i assume smexy salon has some of those like old photos of various beautiful women in fancy hairdos and full 50s makeups. and then puppy play has puppies.

she's just looking back and forth, giving off the feeling of indecision...

she's wearing her red cloak but it's been washed and the dress she is wearing underneath looks a little pink. she's a big cleaner than she's been for the past couple weeks, but her braids are still matted tangles; she hasn't taken them out or brushed them since she's arrived.]

[she's wandering around the new areas today, and she stops when she sees ylfa. the emotion coming from her end is a light concern as she takes in those braids, mingled with the resting state of nervousness and anger that's kind of a constant. she gives her a little wave as she approaches, voice gentle.]

There's always time enough for both, you know? [...] If you want, I bet I could help with your hair.

[honkinbigteeth]

[oh.

ylfa's feelings are a mix of grief and sorrow and fear and rage, something very messy and tumultuous, but it lies beneath the surface. not repressed, just not being used right now.

on the surface, though, libby's request makes her pleased.]

...With my hair? I haven't done my braids, because I was worried I wouldn't be able to put them back.

[there's a pause as she tries to unpack those emotions, but none of them are out of the question for her, just unexpected in this moment. there's a moment as she toys with her sleeve, uncertain, before she continues.]

Oh, well - I should be able to fix them for you if you want. I've had some practice with it.

[something melancholy arises as she says that.]

[where's libby? she's going to come look for her after she leaves.]

[probably just kind of wandering around aimlessly around the city! she pauses in step for a moment when she sees ylfa, but she doesn't break the silence.]

[honkinbigteeth]

Hi, Libby.

[she's quiet and keeps her distance. she feels sad, but a little bit removed.]

It wasn't right, to say that you were cruel. That's not how it works here at all.

[medeian]

[it's quiet and just kind of exhausted, but it's sincere.]

I can get why you'd think that, though.
