It's fine. He can be mad at me, it's fair! But I'm not going to just let someone hurt me. I don't think it's actually physically possible for me to do that, my fight or flight is just fight. And there was basically never any way he could have killed you or me without getting very creative about it. So it's mainly not dangerous, it's just a guy being mad, and that's fine.
