she's wearing her red cloak but it's been washed and the dress she is wearing underneath looks a little pink. she's a big cleaner than she's been for the past couple weeks, but her braids are still matted tangles; she hasn't taken them out or brushed them since she's arrived.]

The salon might be a little gentler on you. They'll have stuff to help loosen the tangles - maybe even the gentle shampoo, so it doesn't hurt if you get it in your eyes.

I promise no one's complained about your shower drains, at least not to me. My sister's hair is pretty long, too, so it happens at home sometimes - that's all.
