...Anything to report? I've got some pretty hot deets myself.

[ he's coming out of ikea, seemingly looking at his phone and checking announcements and the like. ]

Hot deets, huh. [ briefly amused. ] I took a quick look around IKEA since...y'know. Huge store, easy to hide stuff, but I didn't find anything. Where'd you end up?

[honkinbigteeth]

I wasn't thinking that strategically, but out in the street there was a big blimp that crashed and was on fire. So, there.

[westedge]

[ there's a frown at that. ]

Okay one, tell me you guys figured out how to put the fire out. And second of all, how does a blimp like that just crash? Aren't they...you know. Kinda up there?

[honkinbigteeth]

Eventually.

And I can't say I'm exactly an expert on blimps. Never seen one before.

[ he thinks about little red riding hood and sort of just nods to himself like "yes this tracks." ]

I've only seen them a few times myself, but I have no idea how they work. Were you able to get a look at it after you put the flames out? [ and, more importantly: ] Are you okay? No burns?

No burns here! I think Valerie got more of a look at it, but it looked like a burnt up blimp.

Good. [ to no burns. no injuries!! but he kind of makes a little bit of a face at that, like he's weighing the pros and cons of approaching valerie right at this moment. ] ...if I see her later, maybe I'll ask. But if it's a burnt blimp it'd probably be hard to see anything without looking really close at it. Maybe we'll get another chance tomorrow?

[ because the rules talk about a trial and it would make sense based on what he knows about trials in general. ]

Or maybe we were supposed to take pictures but none of us thought about it...

[ hm. you know. hm. he will take note to remember photos if he ever does find anything. ]

Well. Since we don't have photographic evidence we'll just have to count on you guys to fill the gaps. Think your memory's pretty good?

Wait are we talking just in general? [ jonas. ] Okay, what'd you have for breakfast every day last week?

Chicken nuggets.

Hopefully next week we'll have access to a couple of other places with some better food. Or at least real breakfast food.

You know you don't have to always get nuggets? IKEA has some other food. [ they are getting so derailed from the actual topic but it's fine. ]

But I don't blame you. Anybody would get sick of the same thing over and over again eventually.
