Hence the body-changing. Yeah, I get it. [ it's so out of the realm of possibilities for him, but at the same time he seems to be thinking this over. ] Is there a way to reverse it back where you're from?

week 0; friday zero

[wherever jonas is, ylfa is sure to run into him because she's pacing around, investigating probably. looking for clues as though there are still clues to find.]

...Anything to report? I've got some pretty hot deets myself.

[ he's coming out of ikea, seemingly looking at his phone and checking announcements and the like. ]

Hot deets, huh. [ briefly amused. ] I took a quick look around IKEA since...y'know. Huge store, easy to hide stuff, but I didn't find anything. Where'd you end up?

[ here in the wonderful and too-large world of ikea, jonas is wandering around through the aisles more for the sake of something to do than really browsing or anything. it makes it easier for his attention to drift, and it makes it easier for him to notice ylfa. ]

...doing okay after all of that?

[she's window shopping as she eats some meatballs.]

[ honestly the minute he heard it was rin he kind of set off to try and find the other members of froggystyle. he had given haru some space, and gerard would be easy enough to find, he thinks, but ylfa...

...well, she's harder to track down. so he's busy looking high and low for her until by probably luck he ends up finding her tucked away and out of the main traffic areas.

at least when he approaches, it's carefully to make sure she's even open to talking to people. ]

...hey. [ which is the only thing he says for a minute, if only to gauge her mood. ]

[she's off sitting somewhere by herself, probably among some trees. since he waited a little while, her mood is not quite as standoffish as it might have been, but she still doesn't come closer to him as he approaches, and her ears are flat.]

week 2; monday

[on monday, ylfa can be found in the library, holding a book to her chest, looking around and giving off the emotion of awe.]

[ happy monday, jonas is here and he seems to be scanning the shelves for anything that might catch his interest. instead, what catches his interest is the sudden awe that's not coming from him while he's wandering around. ]

Find something good? [light. friendly. emotionally neutral for the moment to where he's focusing on not feeling much at all. ]

week 2; thursday

[pre curfew she's hanging around. she's got a new dress and has actually cleaned herself up a bit and brushed her hair. hooray.]

Jonas, I need to ask you a favor.

[ she's so cute I love her. anyway jonas sort of blinks in surprise because it's not like people actually ask him favors. ]

I'll do my best then. What's up?

week 3; friday

[let's be in the theater, maybe? or void? ylfa just wants to go someplace quiet, for the most part.]

[ the theater is fine. a movie probably just finished so it's quiet and empty and jonas is just staring at the wall. ]

She knew how to fight, too. That's the messed up part. [ a pause. ] No, actually, the messed up part is that it was two of them.

[ he was closer to shenhe, but he did like lambda. ]

[ he is truly staring at this bubble machine uncertainly, and is probably standing here for A While before he realizes he is not alone and he glances at ylfa from the corner of his eye. ]

How stable do you think these things are?

[she is just immediately and without question stepping into a bubble and rolling off onto the clouds.]

she's sitting outside the warehouse door, axe across her lap.]

[ god it's only week 4. and it means that jonas is coming back to the warehouse area and spots her in front of froggystyle's house.

so. he will approach and crouch in front of her. ]

Guarding the roost? [ a light, stupid comment, but it's also a gauge to see if she's even feeling up to talking at all. ]

[ at the entrance of the tunnels...he looks at ylfa before tilting his head, gesturing with a hand. ]

I know we should probably leave it alone. But I kind of wanna go see what's down there. Feel like coming with?

[ confidence week means he can ignore his vague cave/tunnel trauma for this. ]

[she is very happy just to be invited along! ears perked up.]

Yes! I'm useful in a tunnel situation! My hearing is good.

week 5; thursday

[she is changing into her jonas shirt so she can come find jonas wherever he's resting.]

[ thanks ylfa. jonas is currently sitting on a park bench, and here's the meta for pre-curfew.

he. still doesn't quite look normal? it's like halfway between his normal teen appearance and a man in his mid-20s, maybe someone 21-22 age range. some of the scars on his face have reopened, but appear to have been attended to and are slightly more fresh than they were. he's in the green seeds coat so it's hard to see anything else that might have occurred, but there's fresh blood on the back at least. so something happened there.

but he does at least seem to tense a little less upon seeing her. ]

...guess it's good you saved your heal.

[ honestly here, in the void, which may or may not be the outer park actually, jonas is sort of just wandering with his hands in his pockets and not really paying attention to where he's walking. but he does eventually fall into step with ylfa wherever she's heading. maybe she's just as aimless, too. ]

I'm kind of impressed we actually managed to avoid another team wipe. [ it's an easy thing to say when they never got anywhere with setsu's case. ]

[yeah. she nods a little, but.]

There's no way it doesn't happen, though. We just got lucky.

week 6; sunday

[she will come find jonas after trial. somewhere warmer than christmas town, ideally. she can take off her bloody shark sweater and instead wear her M.I.L.F. (Man I Love Frogs) t-shirt.]

jonas is probably coming out of mime-a-mia with some coffee because it's been. an extremely long morning already. but he does pause and gives her a slight smile when she speaks up. ]

Hey. Feeling better? [ he'd...heard about things from thursday and her explanation yesterday, so he figures it's fair to ask. ]
